I was honored, excited, and oh-so-flattered when I was asked for an interview by the one and only Mike Robertson for his “In the Trenches” podcasts.
Mike is a very well respected strength and conditioning coach, co-owner of I-Fast (one of America’s Top 10 Gyms), and famous for his expert rehab/prehab work. Mike has written articles for T-nation, Men’s Health, and a zillion other publications. Plus, he is just downright awesome.
He did a tag team interview with myself and my good friend Molly Galbraith on the following topics:
- The differences between women’s bodybuilding, figure, fitness, and bikini competition.
- The grind that is figure contest prep.
- How to deal with post-contest bloat and weight gain.
- What Molly and Jen are both currently training for.
- Advice on getting more women into powerlifting, and strength training in general.
- The mistakes they’ve both made along the way, as well as how they’ve learned from them.
