A life in which your food choices are enjoyable, nourishing, and effortless. Where exercise is fun, empowering, and adds to your life, making you physically and mentally capable of all of the amazing adventures this world has to offer.
I can show you.
I am one of the original co-founders of Girls Gone Strong, and a ‘Strongest You’ coach. I’m a nutrition coach, an NASM personal trainer and USAW Level One weightlifting coach, and a 200-hour yoga instructor. I have extensive knowledge and personal experience in strength training, powerlifting, physique competitions, and aerial sports.
But perhaps more relevant than any of those qualifications is my personal story of over-exercising, restrictive dieting, and chasing the unicorn of perfection for years and years, and the exact ways in which I managed to overcome all of that.
Those experiences have allowed me to devote my life’s work to providing women just like you with the tools necessary to break free from that exhausting cycle.
I have helped hundreds and hundreds of women in over a dozen countries heal their relationship with food, improve their mindset, learn to love themselves, and exercise in a way that honors their bodies and gets them to their goals. I focus on behavioral change based on cultivating awareness and habit work, all while emphasizing a growth mindset, the power of choice, and learning to own the outcome.
I help women eliminate guilt from the eating experience forever, and learn how to give themselves grace. I teach them how to move their bodies in a fun, effective, and sustainable way that they love… that also happens to make them incredibly strong. I show them how to ditch the mindset that their self-worth is tied to the way that they look, and I teach them how to nourish their body with foods that they love so that they can ’embrace YES’ in life at every given opportunity.

Feeling my best and being able to get the most out of life are my personal goals with my nutrition and training. When I’m not coaching or writing, you can find me rallying on my dirt bike, cruising on my motorcycle, riding mountain bikes, practicing handstands, or hiking. I have a pup named Tuffy McRuffles, friends and family that I adore, and a nephew named Niko that means the world to me.
I’m very proud of my Greek and Japanese heritage, and everything I do is to honor my beautiful grandmother, Misako Matsuo, who is forever my guiding light and compass.
